Rob Lowe and Kimberly Williams star in this 2002 made-for-TV Christmas tearjerker. When a young boy learns that his mother is dying, he struggles to scrape the money together to buy her a pair red shoes. In the process he changes the heart of a workaholic lawyer, who reevaluates his relationship with his estranged wife and daughter, and his own recently deceased mother. Strong acting and a well-developed script make this a holiday film worth watching.
