Following the ravaging of New York by deadly cockroaches, a sickly young man named Marvin, forced to live in a plastic bubble encasement in his bedroom, barely manages to exist in an apartment shared with his fractured family. Marvin discovers that outside his bedroom window, the roaches are coming to town and spreading across his neighborhood. Now, he will have to come together with his family, and the people in his building, in order to stay alive and fight off the threat.
